I used my Golfshot GPS at Piedmont Country Club today.  I’ve been experiencing a small bug in the application lately.  I guess I should pre-empt this post by saying that I’m using a beta version of iOS.  I’m using iOS 5 beta 4, but this bug has been happening since beta 1. I haven’t tried this yet, but from what I understand, you can point your iphone as if you were taking a picture, and the app will pinpoint the yardages to each of the points of reference (i.e. bunkers, green, hazard, etc.).  The app is called Golfscape GPS Rangefinder created from the makers of Golfshot GPS.   Here is the official video which I found on Youtube:
